What's the most important skincare product?

I get this question very often from my clients.

- If you had to choose just one product from your shelf, which one would you pick?

The answer may actually surprise you because it's not some magic formula. It simply the SPF!!

#1 factor in extrinsic aging of your skin is sun exposure!

UVA and UVB rays can cause structural changes and hyperpigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles and loss of elasticity. We can prevent all that by adding that little wrinkle fighter, SPF, to your daily skincare routine!

Now which one you should choose?

If you are in my spa, you are safe, as you are going to get the “Best” on the market:

Made of natural Zinc Oxide, it not only protects against UVA and UVB light rays, but also heals epidermal wounds, burns, rashes, skin oiliness, infections and acne.

The other main ingredient is: Kukui Nut Oil which is high in essential fatty acids, vitamin A, C and E, treats a variety of skin ailments such as eczema, psoriasis and burned or damaged skin.

If you are looking to purchase SPF from your local retail store, avoid those “chemical sunscreens” that have harmful ingredients like oxibenzone or retinyl palmitate.

With Spring around the corner, enjoy the outdoors and be safe!

Fall Season - Peel Season!

"Chemical Peel" might sound a little bit scary at first, but believe me, it is the Best Thing you can do for your skin! It is something you should consider especially during this time of the year when less sunlight offers a perfect and safe environment for the new skin.

What is a chemical peel?

A chemical peel is a technique used to improve the appearance of the skin.

A chemical peel solution is applied to the skin that causes it to exfoliate and eventually peel off.

The new skin is regenerated, smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin.
Other than rejuvenating your skin, a chemical peel treats skin conditions like acne and hyperpigmentation, as well as improves skin texture, lightens and brightens your skin.

The result is noticeable after 5 or 6 chemical peel facials that takes place over 1, 2, or 4 week cycles.
Home care product use is required on daily basis, which is available in my spa.
Please do not hesitate and contact me if you have any questions!
